Bucket elevator
The bucket elevators are used for many purpose including agricultural use, mainly at the construction sites of the high rise buildings to lift the workers and transport the material from the ground to the floor under construction. The bucket elevators are again a part of large steel industries of Italy.
There are different types of bucket elevators manufactured, of which DI-MAX AA and AC style ductile iron elevator buckets are engineered to exceed the performance requirements of any industrial application. These buckets are designed with thicker walls and a reinforced front lip to increase bucket life in tough industrial environments.
Bucket elevator steel
As mentioned earlier, bucket elevator has been useful in agricultural field also. There are wide ranges of buckets with different materials including steel, for different usage, eg for different types of corps, for different applications, different styles. Made of mild steel for mounting on belt or chain.
Traditional agriculture style bucket can also be transformed into a heavier gauge steel for lighter weight industrial duty applications. Elevator buckets can be made from thick carbon steel and stainless steel. Buckets are vented as standard and are spot welded. Replacing malleable iron with ductile iron elevator buckets will result in longer bucket life and more efficient operation.
